Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Salesforce Tower, 2300 N Field St, Dallas, TX, 75201
Job Duties:
- Write high quality, reusable and maintainable code using APEX programming language and Object-Oriented programming languages.
- Develop lightning aura and web components, both within the salesforce using lightning design system and custom Java script and Cascading Style Sheets. Desired skills include JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
- Perform API integration between Salesforce.com and Other third-party systems like MuleSoft, Tableau and Slack using REST and SOAP API’s.
- Develop Custom Code using Apex classes, controllers, Triggers and Lightning frameworks, Create Apex triggers using asynchronous apex methods to perform callouts to destination orgs in salesforce.
- Follow the best practices in maintaining quality code coverage with Salesforce Governor limits and patterns.
- Write complex SOQL, SOSL queries across multiple objects within SFDC database to search and retrieve the data using CRUD operations.
- Write apex test classes to ensure 85% of the code coverage to improve and optimize the application for maximum speed.
- Configure the salesforce security setup using profiles, permission sets, OWD, Role Hierarchy and sharing rules.
- Implement Out of the box functionality automation tools like, Process Builders, Lightning Flows and workflow rules to automate the business process and to make system being maintained by admins wherever possible.
- Work on Unit testing and UAT testing after development to test the application flow and functionality of business requirement.
- Write batch classes and schedulable classes to handle large data sets in timely manner.
- Follow agile methodology which involves daily scrum calls and retrospective session. Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to plan and estimate the time frame for user stories.
- Refactor legacy apex classes, triggers and Lightning components to bulkify the code using best salesforce practices.
- Deploy code from sandbox to production using changesets and Jenkins for release management.
- Work with business analysts and gather the business requirement before developing the application.
This position requires a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree or its working equivalent in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
