The Salesforce Services team provides strategy, implementation, and managed services for higher education, healthcare, nonprofits, and other Salesforce users.
As a Salesforce Developer, you are an instrumental part of the akaCRM Delivery Department and will work with multi-person teams to develop integrations, Salesforce code (Visualforce, APEX), and Lightning Components to meet the needs of various clients.
This is a Full Time and Remote position. MUST be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Tasks at hand:
- Serve as a member of a client project team and fulfill the imperative and declarative requirements
- Serve on a multi-person development team for integrations, Salesforce code, and creation of Lightning components
- Validate Salesforce fit vs. business requirements
- Identify and implement basic to complex solutions, perform analysis, and design
- Develop software code, write test methods, troubleshoot client code, and create technical documentation
- Provide estimates of effort to pre-sales and project teams as needed
- Support technical questions for pre-sales efforts as needed including answering questions on capabilities of the Salesforce platform and providing estimates of effort for development efforts

Your Work Experience Includes:
- 3 or more years developing on the Salesforce platform
- Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Component Framework
- APIs and integrations
- Experience working on multiple projects
- Preferably work experience with Higher Education
Your Education & Certifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (PD1) Certification- Required
- Salesforce Javascript Developer 1 - Preferred
- Certified Salesforce Administrator - Required
