Job Overview:

P3S Corporation is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce development and administration, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Salesforce solutions in a federal contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce applications and solutions in accordance with DISA requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Manage and maintain existing Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new and existing features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Document system design, processes, and technical specifications for future reference and compliance.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization and effectiveness.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development and administration.
• Experience working on federal contracts, preferably with DISA or similar government agencies.
• Proven ability to design and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Developer (Salesforce Platform Developer I or II).
• Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus.
• Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Consultant) are advantageous.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security features.
• Experience with Salesforce integration tools and methodologies (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Visual Studio Code (with Salesforce Extensions)
• JIRA or similar project management tools
• Git or version control systems
• ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica)
• Reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce Reports & Dashboards)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular, browser and GUI design related applications.
