The AWS Worldwide Revenue Operations Customer Relationship Management (WWRO CRM) team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Senior Technical Program Manager to join our security and compliance team.

As a Technical Program Manager on the Security and Compliance team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to innovate in the security space of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Salesforce. You will lead technical programs building security tools that scale efficiently and support a wide spectrum of use cases. Responsibilities include the collection of business and systems requirements from customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. You will lead and coordinate design and implementation efforts, coordinating across multiple teams to develop optimal solutions. You will make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time, goals, customer impact and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional teams.

The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background. As a Technical Program Manager, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Key job responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership by facilitating solution/design/architectural discussions; find and research ways to utilize AWS tools and Salesforce Platform to improve security.
  • Own security initiatives, resources, and timelines.
  • Work with a cross-functional scrum teams to deliver projects in iterative release cycles.
  • Identify, anticipate, assess, track and mitigate issues, risks, roadblocks and escalations at multiple levels.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Manage and partner with cross-functional teams to complete security campaigns.
  • Participate in team level security reviews and consultations.
A day in the life
You will operate with high autonomy owning security campaigns and bar-raising initiatives. This role has a high level of discretion to own and move projects forward to meet target dates you defined. As a team, we manage approvals for data access and significant configuration changes to the system. Although not daily, this role will play a significant role in addressing those consultations. You will own the definition of success metrics for your projects and the weekly status reporting.

  • Advanced/Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • 3+ years working in a security audit/reviewer role
  • 5+ years experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM related technologies.
  • Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
