Salesforce Developer - Acquisition

The Acquisition Tribe is responsible for building resilient and scalable platforms and tools for SumUp’s market-facing teams so that our merchants and partners can easily find and start using the right SumUp products for their business.

We’re looking for a motivated Salesforce Developer to join our Berlin chapter. You’ll be joining the Sales Acceleration Squad, working closely with business stakeholders to design and implement features and solutions on our Sales Cloud. You will collaborate with the CRM Platform teams, which are setting best practices and frameworks for use of Salesforce and integrate it with the rest of SumUp services used in Acquisition Tribe. The micro-services are connected via Kafka and APIs, with Mulesoft acting as middleware and ETL layer between them and Salesforce.

What you’ll do

• Support the integration of Salesforce with different micro-services and Kafka.

• Discuss existing Sales solutions with the code owners, looking for possible improvements and reuses

• Collaborate on a global level with other engineering and data chapters.

• Be responsible for the development, maintenance, and scalability of Salesforce as a platform on the programming side.

You’ll be great for this role if you

• Have experience as a full-stack developer and with building web applications.

• Have 2+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer, with understanding of Sales Cloud.

• Continuously follow Salesforce releases, identify new features and improvements, and advise on or lead implementation.

• Want to learn more about system integrations.

• Are energetic, positive, and comfortable engaging with people at multiple levels on projects and meetings.

• Are able to write clear and concise code that your teammates can understand and build upon.
