Team Description

ITS delivers business technology strategy and solutions to our Dropbox business partners so they can work confidently, move fast, and scale effortlessly. We aspire to be the connective tissue to the core business of Dropbox as a partner of choice that accelerates and simplifies outcomes. We source, build and implement the right technology solution, and fit it into exactly the right place so that everything meets the high bar that Dropboxers expect.

Role Description

Working with Dropbox’s Information Technology Services organization, you will be working with multi-functional business and IT partners to design, implement and support technical solutions based on Salesforce.com Platform. A heavy focus will be on sales cloud and the integrations around it. You will help us identify, reduce and eventually eliminate our technical debt within the platform, and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to fix the issues. You should also have the ability to build quick real time prototypes / proof of concept to facilitate solutions conversation. You will be a forward thinker who understands the technology landscape, industry standard methodologies and can help influence a roadmap that aligns our implementation closer to the target state.
Responsibilities

Design, Build and support highly optimal technology solutions built on Salesforce.com (native and custom) that support business requirements
Evaluate, develop, deploy and support any 3rd party app exchange applications
Lead the full application architecture process including translating business requirements into functional solutions. Define and adhere to CRM best practices and methodologies
Maintain experienced knowledge of integrations coming in and out of Salesforce.com
Collaborate with and mentor team members through mentoring, code review, and knowledge sharing
Requirements

Experienced understanding of Salesforce. com platform and sales cloud including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding, batch processes, and database model
Build solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Lightning Web Component, Visualforce, Lightning, Apex, Web Services and API's
Strong knowledge and grasp of relational database design and data modeling
Proven experience as the technical domain expert on Salesforce.com development, and delivered optimal solution design and strategy
Experience with end to end Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementation including: Service Console, live Agent, Customer Portal, Case Feed, Knowledge Base and Entitlements is required
Good interpersonal communication skills and an affinity to work in a team environment; have the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities with a flexible and adaptable positive attitude
Experience collaborating with project managers to identify project achievements, tasks, and required resources to develop a detailed project plan
Experience solving problems and fixing defects for production issues
Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Architect certifications a plus
Prior Object Oriented programming experience would be helpful
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Through our assessment process, we will identify your level that ties to compensation based on your experience and technical expertise along with the scope of the role.

For candidates hired in the following locations: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, Oregon, Washington D.C. metro, California (outside SF metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $124,700 - $146,700 - $168,700 if you are assessed at the IC3 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC4 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $148,100 - $174,200 - $200,300.

For candidates hired in the following locations: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (outside Chicago Metro), North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas (outside Austin Metro), Virginia (outside D.C. Metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $110,800 - $130,400 - $150,000 if you are assessed at the IC3 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC4 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $131,700 - $154,900 - $178,100.

Range(s) is subject to change. Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
