Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this role is a team player that has demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical resources. This role allows for either the application of existing Salesforce experience or the transfer of previous programming knowledge into the Salesforce ecosystem by quickly learning the Salesforce Platform. Being a self-motivated learner of new technologies or technology adjacent skills is a must. Existing Salesforce certifications or demonstrated success on Trailhead are looked upon very favorably.
Job Responsibilities:
Working closely with senior developers, manages the existing Salesforce platform, develops custom applications and performs unit testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages. 40%
Configures and maintains client Salesforce instances via declarative tools, including workflows, process builders, reports, dashboards, etc. 20%
Solicits and understands client technical requirements in order to configure and/or develop solutions in the Salesforce platform. 20%
Serves as backup to the Salesforce Admin. 10%
Effectively communicates with end users and management regarding project and request status. 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technically-related field with 1+ years of experience.
Specific Experience - Experience with Salesforce development throughout the full software development lifecycle; Experience in technical support of end users.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technology and design-related field with 2+ years of experience.
Specific Experience - Experience with Salesforce development throughout the full software development lifecycle; Knowledge of Salesforce EDA and Pardot.
Special or Physical Qualifications:
Analytical skills and attention to accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaborate professionally with diverse teams. Ability to self-prioritize tasks in a fast changing environment. Ability to interpret and apply university policies, State and Federal Regulations. Experience in Excel and other Word Office products.
