Technology Solutions (TS) provides a range of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS). The branch sets the strategic direction of ICT in alignment with the business direction. TS is responsible for ICT strategies, initiatives, architectures, policies, projects, applications and infrastructure services in a multi-sourced environment.
About the role
The purpose of this role is providing technical and active development and administration of products or services throughout the Salesforce Landscape using iterative and agile approaches.
The role will provide technical solution and implementation development and design on projects as well as providing support to the broader technical teams. The role is also responsible for delivering new builds and enhancements on the platform with customer focused support and engagement attributes.
In this role you will also:

write technical requirements and develop code and objects to be used in solution implementation
*
lead the delivery of data activities related to Salesforce implementations and integrations to AWS and the Data Lake leveraging technical best practices with architects, platform, and product owners
*
generate and drive leadership and guidance across the business unit and department to ensure that the Software Development principles are applied to appropriate products and related information technology functions through high level involvement and advice to specific initiatives.

About you
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- extensive experience as a Salesforce developer, including with AMPscript/Server Side Javascript (SSJS), HTML/CSS,SQL queries, Salesforce Cloud's SOAP and REST APIs, Integrations with web CMS, Custom reports, Dynamic email personalisation
- Salesforce certified: (DEV401, ADMIN 201 or Platform Developer 1)
- previous experience with Salesforce.com customisation (APEX & Visual Force) and an understanding of the Force.com platform as well as proven experience developing new App Exchange products
- lightning and LWC experience is highly desirable.
