Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote - Dayton, OH, area preferred

Classification: Salary, Exempt

Travel: 10%

The Role

Be part of a development team committed to achieving client-focused, mission-driven excellence by building and designing an aircrew scheduling application on the Salesforce Platform. As a Salesforce developer you will be responsible for developing a customized solution to enable the client to achieve and maintain aircrew currencies.

Position Expectations

• Perform all duties in accordance with our code of conduct.
• Actively engage in your role and be accountable for all outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients, partners, teammates.
• Contribute to JJR’s strategic initiatives required to achieve JJR’s Grounded & Growing 2025 objectives.

Duties

• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Create timelines and development goals.
• Test the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Write documents and provide technical training for application users.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary delivery team including other developers, solution architects, and design managers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Previous work experience with application and software development.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• JJR may choose to substitute education with relevant experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
• Ability to project manage.
• Familiarity and/or experience working on a scrum team.
• Experience in group facilitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Salary: In accordance with various state and federal pay transparency regulations, as well as best industry practices, our job descriptions include the salary range we reasonably expect to pay those joining our team, contingent upon little to no training being required. A final salary is subject to several factors, including but not limited to the following: years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.

The range of pay for this position is $96700-$127,000
