This role requires a strong technical expertise in Salesforce Platform and integrations with other systems. This role will work in an Agile framework and drive the design, development of new functionalities along with the support / maintenance of existing functions. There will be multiple opportunities to quickly expand on the technical experience, with plenty of business exposure.
- Meet with business partners to determine business / functional requirements and translate them into user stories.
- Design and develop solutions using declarative tools (Validation rules, Lightning flows etc.) and advanced customization using Apex (Classes, Triggers), Lightning components and Visualforce to support business requirements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for development / configurations of all aspects of CRM.
- Develop and maintain integrations of Salesforce with other internal / external systems.
- Participate in the evaluation of 3rd party solutions.
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of the SDLC.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve end user problems in a manner that exemplifies the bank’s high standards of customer service
- Drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and user experience.
- Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that encourages productive interactions with business stakeholders, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Carries out responsibilities with minimal level of supervision for complex tasks and no supervision for more routine tasks.
- 3-4 years of Salesforce application development experience and platform maintenance.
- Experience programming in APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience in Salesforce declarative development tools (Validation Rules, Lightning Flows)
- Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit including Force.com IDE, Migration tools, Data Loader, Workbench etc.
- Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, jQuery and Java Script.
- Good understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
- Must be a self-starter, Salesforce enthusiast and willing to learn new technologies (MuleSoft)
- Ability to clearly communicate with business stakeholders, users, and development team.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills in a technical environment.
- Prior experience in Financial Service Cloud (FSC) preferred.
- Salesforce Admin (201) and Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
