Team and Work Scope:
The Salesforce Developer will be a part of the Enterprise Solutions department that includes Salesforce and Mulesoft teams.
As a Salesforce Developer, you will report to the Director of Enterprise Solutions. You will partner closely with Salesforce and Mulesoft delivery teams within the Enterprise Systems Department, which is currently comprised of 2 Salesforce Administrators, 2 Salesforce Developers, and 4 Mulesoft Engineers.
The Salesforce Developer will design, build, test & deliver customized salesforce solutions to our employees, customers, & partners based on the technical & business strategy of our organization.
The incumbent will also be responsible for seamlessly integrating the salesforce platform with other internal and external IT systems.

Essential Functions
- Use Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning aura components to Implement features and bugfixes within the org, following org architecture, software engineering principles, and coding best-practices.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant components and packages.
- Debug high-priority bugs and implement a fix, if necessary, which might affect Integrations or functionality of the user interface
- Perform peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
- Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams such as product management and interface development and integrate other systems into Salesforce or from Salesforce to other products.
- Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage.
- Develop and deploy solutions that bring sales functions together.
- Engage with business team, help to address key implementation objectives.
- Document changes and author documentation on software development standards and practices.
- Continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Take initiative to further identify areas and concepts that can be improved across the enterprise systems ecosystem.
Required Education, Skills, and Experiences
- High School Diploma/GED mandatory
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a developer working in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Experience (Community) Cloud.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with advanced Salesforce.com development tools and techniques (e.g. Apex language, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, Objects, SOQL, SOSL, outbound messaging, Lightning Components and Visualforce pages
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a developer role on one or more Salesforce implementations
- Experience using Salesforce's standard development tooling, including the Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, VS Code + Salesforce Extension Pack
- Experience customizing 3rd party applications
- Experience with source control systems, including git repositories and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via RESTful services and webhooks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum , CI/CD , and development methodology.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field of study or Business Administration
- Experience with MuleSoft Integration Platform
- Experience in data visualizations
- Certifications: Platform App Builder, JavaScript Develop I, Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role is eligible to participate in the annual performance bonus, of, up to 20% of the annual base salary

Work Environment & Physical Demands
AIP is a remote-first company, however our US based roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your US based home office. We primarily collaborate with our US colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will have to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery, as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
