Junior Salesforce Developer

We are in search of a proactive Salesforce Developer to bolster our IT team and support our Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud orgs, as well as assist in implementing other integrations and functionality. This role will serve as a cornerstone in refining and expanding our Salesforce platform, driving both efficiency and the collection of insightful, reliable data. As our company’s nerve center for data and operations, the Salesforce Developer plays a pivotal role in systemizing business functions.

The ideal candidate should have strong analysis skills in determining with it’s appropriate to code over configuring a solution declaratively, as well as possess a sharp attention to detail, maintaining a holistic view of our business to ensure that all new automation and development aligns with our broad operational objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual eager to grow their Salesforce expertise within our company. The Salesforce Developer will report directly to the Director of IT Business Application, providing an enriching environment for growth and learning.

Our Salesforce Developer will be expected to stay current with Salesforce updates, releases, and new features, leveraging these advancements to continually enhance our business processes and productivity. If you are an innovative thinker with a proven track record and a passion for learning, we look forward to hearing from you.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, involving end users as needed and utilizing debugging skills.
  • Adhere to best practices for both declarative development and coding in all Salesforce development activities.
  • Document all new and existing automations, contributing to a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Prioritize declarative development whenever feasible to create maintainable automations accessible to non-technical contributors.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s/Post Graduate degree, professional qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, additional certifications such as Salesforce Administrator are a bonus.
