Summary:

The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing a variety of Donan Systems. This includes but is not limited to Salesforce, .Net, and Azure. The development work will be planned and managed using an Agile Methodology. This ensures a constant flow of challenging yet rewarding development tasks. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work with the Development Team and report to the IT Development Manager.

The Senior Salesforce Developer will provide technical expertise to create solutions that solve specific business challenges. You will be responsible for all aspects of an application or integration that is developed and be able to support Developers as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain, support, and enhance Donan Systems features and applications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects encountered during testing and production, during the deployment and implementation of the code in production environments.
Partner with and support Development Team Manager with continuous upgrades, projects, and code.
Validate the code against unit tests and code quality scans.
Work with all internal IT staff and external clients and vendors to elicit and document applications.
Analyze and diagram flowcharts to assist in the programming process.
Assist in developing and maintaining team processes, procedures, and templates to continuously improve release quality and implementation time.
Develop proof of concepts (POCs) as needed, integrating new components with back-office systems during the design and requirements phase to evaluate products and integration strategies.
Effectively communicate projects and assignment updates.
Document technical project creation and updates.
Complete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and to high-quality coding standards.
Communicate regularly with the Product Owner, SMEs, and Stakeholders.
Review code of Developers and provide support to Developers as needed.
Complete complex projects independently.
Primary technical resource on multi-team projects.
Other duties as directed by management.

Position Requirements:

5-10 years of combined experience with Salesforce Development, Salesforce Administration, and Salesforce Integrations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive development experience utilizing Apex, SFDX, Batch Processing, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, RESTful APIs.
Knowledge experience with developing and consuming APIs
Knowledge and experience with third party applications - IdP (Okta, Azure AD)
Knowledge and experience with the Agile Methodology
Knowledge and experience with SQL, SOQL, SAQL, MySQL, etc.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is highly preferred, but not required. Will also consider combinations of education and/or IT Certifications in addition to relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements:

The candidate should also have extensive experience securing applications and following best practices.
Knowledge and experience with Azure Development
Knowledge and experience with .Net Development (C#)

Physical Requirements:

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
