Job Description:
We are looking for a creative Salesforce Developer who will play a key role in maximizing the efficacy of the CRM. We run a large Salesforce Enterprise wide implementation with (~1100 users) utilizing a wide range of leading edge Salesforce tools and solutions. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of customizations, applications, extensions and integrations. You will work with a team of fellow engineers and collaborate with our Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and future of Benefitfocus.
Responsibilities:
- Manages one or more projects of large scope and/or high complexity or a small program, providing guidance to project teams; may be assigned to high criticality projects; has regular internal and/or external stakeholder interaction.
- Recommends changes to policies that affect the business unit or the organization, and identifies areas of improvements that could be made to procedures, policies or processes.
- Effectively speaks in front of large teams and communicates to senior and executive audiences in oral and written form.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
- Is accountable to management based on meeting objectives and schedules.
- Frequently interacts with internal customers and/or functional peer group managers regarding projects between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
- Provides high-level coaching and mentoring to Engineers.
- Solves highly complex performance issues within systems/applications.
- Assists end users with navigation, basic, and very advanced usage of applications.
- Regularly suggests and develops automation to assist with repeatable tasks.
- Configures Salesforce and associated packages.
- Works in AWS with Amazon Connect and Salesforce Service Cloud Integration.
- Works with CPQ, CLM Implementation.
- Additional responsibilities, as required.
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience (Salesforce Apex development, Aura and Lightning Web Components, Visualforce and REST integration).
- Certifications in relevant technology is a requirement (Salesforce certifications, AWS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field highly preferred
- Experience working in JavaScript / Python is helpful
- Excellent customer facing and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience/Community Cloud.
- Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies.
