Salesforce Developer

U-Haul is looking for a Software Developer to work as part of our U-Box development team on Salesforce.com development, support and enhancement as we migrate a mix of legacy and new applications onto the Salesforce.com platform. This person will need to demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and the drive to constantly improve their skill set.

Candidates for this position will:

• Meet with the product team to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, development of custom applications, configuration, testing and deployment on Salesforce.com platform.

• Develop custom applications using Salesforce. com and integrating salesforce.com with other systems

• Utilize best practices to perform enhancements and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform

• Analyze and implement solutions to presented problems while satisfying the user’s needs

• Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.

• Write code that is easily maintainable and highly reliable

• Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize work as necessary

• Collaborate with a team to successfully complete projects on time

Requirements:

• Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing)

• Experience developing Javascript front-end apps (Lightning, Angular, React)

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools

• Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)

• Software engineering skills with Java SE or C# preferred

• Experience working with source control and continuous integration

Additional Experience Desired:

• Background in the following technologies

  • Kafka, Redis

• Experience in integrating external systems with Salesforce.com platform

  • Specific experience on Service cloud is a plus

  • Designing and developing API’s using Mulesoft experience is a plus
