The Salesforce Software Engineer 2 codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Responsibilities The Salesforce Software Engineer Implements organization's Salesforce strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Roles and Responsibility
- Collaborating with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
- Responsible for developing in lightening web components, Apex, JavaScript, CSS and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
- Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
- Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
Requirements
- 1-3 years. previous development experience with Salesforce
- Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and APIs
- Detailed experience writing Visualforce, Lightning and Apex classes and triggers
- Experience using Salesforce tooling including SDFX
- Experience using SFDC in a version-controlled environment and CI/CD practices
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, modern web technologies and APIs
- Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
