Overview:

The Salesforce Business Technology, Application Development team is seeking a talented and experienced Senior CPQ/force.com developer to develop and enhance our internal technology solutions on the SALESFORCE.COM platform that support various mission-critical business processes.

Responsibilities:
  • You must have an excellent understanding of the Salesforce platform and products, such as the Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Force .com. As a CPQ developer you must have a solid foundation in pricing, Quote to Cash Process, and programming to demonstrate in writing efficient and scalable pricing, Apex Code, Lightning and Visualforce code.
  • You will be responsible for developing through all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical designs, implementation, testing, to production deployments. Your ability to quickly learn new features, technologies, and to communicate effectively with various business owners, technical staff members, and cross functional teams will help you to design, develop, and configuring cutting edge Salesforce.com products.
  • To be successful in this position, you must provide expertise on the CPQ Pricing model, Renewal Management, Quote to Cash process, Advanced approvals, Document generation tools, Salesforce.com Apex, API's, profiles, and security model while maintaining and configuring development and test instances for our internal sandboxes.
  • Knowledge on systems that are included in Lead to Cash such as Zuora, NetSuite, and Boomi to design and develop an end to end solution
  • You will also be expected to provide detailed best practices and documentation for your applications to the IT Support organization.
  • This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas, provide feedback and collaborate on many projects within the team’s portfolio that may be outside your domain expertise.

Skills -
  • 6 Years minimum of experience in Sales, CPQ cloud Development experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing, and developing Salesforce CPQ solutions using OOB features or customization functions required
  • Minimum 6 Years of experience as a developer in Apex, and Visualforce required
  • Minimum 4 Years of experience as a developer in Lightning required
  • Experience on Salesforce configuration, and execute the unit testing to produce defect free software
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce Sales, and CPQ areas like Pricing waterfall model, Quote Management, Renewal Management, Amendment, and Quote to Cash process are required
  • Experience on advanced Salesforce.com areas like Lightning Web Components, Platform Events, Flows. Etc.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification is required/must to propose design and develop the Quote to Cash lifecycle.
  • Experience working on Zuora to manage Subscription, and invoicing or billing
  • Minimum 1 or 1 plus years of experience required to work on Zuora to manage subscription, and Invoicing or Billing solutions is required
  • Extensive knowledge on Billing, and Integration systems like NetSuite, and Boomi
  • Design and develop the solutions for system integration using REST/ SOAP
  • Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications and integrations on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Ensuring the test coverage and creating test methods.
  • Need to understand end to end implementation of Sales, and CPQ applications and be able to dictate them to all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of client application functionality and be able to self-teach on new processes
  • Learn and master new technologies to meet the needs of any assignments; do whatever it takes to accomplish end goals
  • Work hand in hand with Business Analysts and rest of team to research existing and/or new capabilities of the existing technologies
  • Work both independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team structure and be able to lead by example

Professional Qualification-
  • B.E/B-Tech/MCA/MSC/MS
  • 7 plus years of overall experience as a part of his/her career
  • Designs using standard patterns. Should also be able to communicate this effectively to the team.
  • Should have very good technical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with database concepts and data modelling capabilities
  • Analyse and identify gaps in functional/business requirements and should be able to effectively communicate this to both Business and Functional analysts
  • Should be able to assess the impact on technical designs caused by changes in functional requirements
  • Experience with database concepts and data modelling capabilities
  • Should be able to perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed
  • Good communication skills, and excellent cross-group communication and problem-solving skills
