We are looking for a Salesforce app developer who is excited by building Salesforce apps that can truly make a difference to our business. You will have a proven skillset that spans Apex, Lightening, SFDX, and the full declarative tool set. You will be a strong team player working on highly collaborative projects.
You will join our Salesforce DevOps team that is responsible for architecting and building our Operations IT systems.
- Using best practices to build on our Salesforce solutions.
- Create Unit, Integration and End-to-end automated tests
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code working closely with the UX/UI team to deliver a best in class user experience
- Work with architecture, analysts and testing teams (both in-house and third party) to ensure solution designs and systems delivered meet the business requirements
- Liaise with all stakeholders to understand requirements, produce estimates and planning
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our change and release processes
- Work within a project team to identify potential solutions and evaluate their technical feasibility
- Develop the functionality of system solutions within an Agile or Waterfall methodology.
- Producing the following documentation: Design documentation, how to articles, code documentation and comments.
- Complete all ii training and compliance courses
- Time Management and Prioritisation
- Strong technical problem analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experienced in working in a high-pressure, time critical operating environment
Requirements
TECHNICAL CAPABILITES:
- Strong proficiency in Apex
- Strong proficiency in Lightning Components.
- Strong proficiency with SOQL
- Strong proficiency with SOAP and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with modern CI pipelines and tools
- Experience with common development tools such as Visual Studio Code
- Experience creating Unit, Integration and End-to-end automated tests using Selenium
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with Jira or other software management tools
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
- Thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform, running multiple Orgs and service cloud.
- Salesforce Administrator & Platform Developer I qualified
- Experience of developing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions
- Experience of working within a regulated environment
- Experience of supporting the critical applications of a digital business
- Experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
OPTIONAL:
- Knowledge of financial services or stockbroking would be advantageous

- To plan and implement changes according to Service Management and Change Management processes, and to understand and adhere to the controls and governance standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis and make recommendation to prevent repeating issues in the codebase.
- Adhere to code standards and code review policy to ensure quality
