We are looking for a Salesforce app developer who is excited by building Salesforce apps that can truly make a difference to our business. You will have a proven skillset that spans Apex, Lightening, SFDX, and the full declarative tool set. You will be a strong team player working on highly collaborative projects.

You will join our Salesforce DevOps team that is responsible for architecting and building our Operations IT systems.

Using best practices to build on our Salesforce solutions.
Create Unit, Integration and End-to-end automated tests
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code working closely with the UX/UI team to deliver a best in class user experience
Work with architecture, analysts and testing teams (both in-house and third party) to ensure solution designs and systems delivered meet the business requirements
Liaise with all stakeholders to understand requirements, produce estimates and planning
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our change and release processes
Work within a project team to identify potential solutions and evaluate their technical feasibility
Develop the functionality of system solutions within an Agile or Waterfall methodology.
Producing the following documentation: Design documentation, how to articles, code documentation and comments.
Complete all ii training and compliance courses
Time Management and Prioritisation
Strong technical problem analysis
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Experienced in working in a high-pressure, time critical operating environment

Requirements

TECHNICAL CAPABILITES:

Strong proficiency in Apex
Strong proficiency in Lightning Components.
Strong proficiency with SOQL
Strong proficiency with SOAP and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with modern CI pipelines and tools
Experience with common development tools such as Visual Studio Code
Experience creating Unit, Integration and End-to-end automated tests using Selenium
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Familiarity with Jira or other software management tools

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

Thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform, running multiple Orgs and service cloud.
Salesforce Administrator & Platform Developer I qualified
Experience of developing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions
Experience of working within a regulated environment
Experience of supporting the critical applications of a digital business
Experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

OPTIONAL:

Knowledge of financial services or stockbroking would be advantageous
