Position Summary
As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also analyze project objectives, create customer workflows, and troubleshoot errors.
To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company.
Key Focus Areas
- Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
- Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
- Managing development timelines and goals.
- Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
- Maintain Sandbox Environments and Deployments.
- Troubleshooting and fixing bugs. Subject expert for escalations.
- Recommend and manage system interoperability connections to and from Salesforce
- Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff.
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering (or 5+ years equivalent experience).
- 5+ Previous work experience with application and software development.
- Proven track record of understanding and developing customer-facing interfaces.
- Can demonstrate advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms configurations.
- Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce.
- Functional knowledge of Front Office (Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service) and Back Office (Finance, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality) business processes and best practices.
- Functional understanding of different project management methodologies including agile and waterfall
- Excellent verbal and written skills; able to build strong rapport across all functional areas and with external partners.
- Experience working with software validation, regulatory compliance, data security and privacy in a Life Sciences environment.
- Experience with support of international commercial business operations.
Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 DOE
