Salesforce, Inc. seeks Salesforce DevOps Architect in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Managing the planning and execution of all software deployment activities across multiple project streams in a continuous delivery environment. Translating the technical plan for development management and DevOps automation into language that is understandable for our clients, and then effectively communicating the plan. Guiding the DevOps team to establish enterprise-wide DevOps strategies. Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of latest trends in DevOps methodologies, processes, tools, and emerging solutions, and applying them when appropriate. Creating test artifacts, best practices, and standards, and maintaining them for organization-wide use. Serving as the medium between build teams, operations, governance, and DevOPs teams for full technical support. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year bachelor’s degree. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or four (4) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Jenkins; (3) Eclipse; (4) GitHub; (5) Bitbucket; (6) SCRUM; (7) Agile; (8) Maven; (9) Soap UI; and (10) Postman. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience, and criminal background checks will be conducted. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year bachelor’s degree. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

Salary: $160,000.00 - $220,000.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
